Eat Your Vegetables!

I just read an article in one of my mom’s magazines from a mother asking, “How do I get my kids to eat their vegetables??”  I laughed out loud because Macy, for some reason, LOVES vegetables.  It is bizarre.

Foods Macy (actually) enjoys eating:

Broccoli

Green beans

Carrots

Sugar snap peas

Beans

Squash

Tomatoes (I know, not a vegetable, but still)

Onions

Cucumbers

Corn

What a strange child.  One of her earliest words was broccoli.  (Don’t ask me, a picture of broccoli was in one of her books).  Being a picky eater myself, it’s quite refreshing to have a one-year-old who will eat just about anything you put in front of her.  (I keep waiting for the picky toddler stage everyone says a kid goes through.) We have more trouble with her shoveling the food in too quickly then we do with her refusing to eat.  Most mornings she wakes up and says, “Bananas!”  I had a friend who told me that I should video-tape her eating because it’s so fun to watch.  Hmm.  Maybe I should.
