March Bluebonnets

It’s that time of year again…bluebonnet season.  Since we were in Houston last March (see Time for more info), I knew that this year I wanted to take family pictures out there again.  There’s not much that is more Texas than bluebonnets (except for the rodeo of course…Doesn’t Get More Texas Than This).

The first time we went out to try and take pictures was not a success.  Macy was not in picture-taking mood and every time my mom asked her to look up or smile, she would look down and say, “no”.  Hmm.  So we tried again the next day with my mom and Jeff’s mom and here’s what we got…

Yay Macy!

And a picture with Grandmommy…

Love being home during bluebonnet season.

  1. oh fun! where are those beautiful blue bonnets exactly? i would love to capture our sprouts in the midst of them sometime in the (distant) future. thanks for sharing! 🙂

  2. You can’t really tell from the picture, but we are at TC Jester and the 610 loop. Does that help? Hard to believe we are right off of a major freeway in that picture, isn’t it? 🙂
