The Hall Bath

I’ve never spent that much time in the hall bath aka Macy’s bathroom.  Sure, Macy takes a bath in there every night and I go in there to empty the trash or make sure there’s enough toilet paper left, but that’s about the extent of it.

Until now.

Potty training days three and four were just about the same as potty training day two.  Accidents but some earned M&Ms.  Of course, now she’s getting some time outside (because a Macy inside all day is not a pretty thing), but I’m putting a Pull-Up on her just in case.  It’s a good thing.

When you spend a lot of time in the bathroom, you have to come up with something to do.  At least for your toddler to do.  In Macy’s case, I’ve discovered stickers work pretty well.

Posing with new stickers

Let’s just say that we’ve gone through quite a few stickers.  A special thank you to my mom for sending lots of stickers and to the little store down the street that sells stickers and to the shop in Hong Kong I found that also sold cheap stickers.

I’m beginning to believe that I will be potty training until baby #2 comes.  Only three months to go.  🙂

  1. It will happen soon. Macy doesn’t even like dirty hands. She is not going to like to be wet. I sort of remember Avery; she would ask for rewards at my house.

  2. way to think ahead! love the idea of her entertaining herself while “sitting”. 🙂 i know it’s tough going right now… but you can rest assured that she will not walk down the aisle without first being potty trained. it will happen! 🙂 and if it happens before #2, you’ll have one more excuse to celebrate! (((hugs)))
