Cupcakes and Popsicles

When deciding what to do for Macy’s birthday party, I thought about what she loves best.

1. Being outside.

2. Friends.

3. Playgrounds.

So I called my playground guru – my mother-in-law.

“If you could have a birthday party at any playground in Houston, where would you go?”

She thought for a minute.  “Memorial Park.”

Sold.

We invited a few of Macy’s good friends to help us celebrate.

Present time – the first thing she opened was from Cook Cook – Pinkalicious!!

By the time we got to presents, it was getting pretty warm.  Houston in June is anything but cool.  So while Macy opened up presents, we handed out popsicles for all of our friends – and their parents – to enjoy.  Whew.  The perfect way to end the perfect Macy party.  Thank you to everyone who came and made Macy feel so special.  We love you!

Happy birthday, baby girl!
